Well, I've never booked a cruise so close to departure before - only 1 month out when we pulled the trigger! The cruise price itself was excellent, but our airfare and hotel was another story (which is why I usually book much further out) We ended up using FF miles to book the airfare (much better than $900 per person!) and visa points to pay for the hotel. Excellent when that works out.
We will be sailing on Celebrity Summit out of San Juan, Puerto Rico. The cruise departs on Saturday, 3/29/14 and has 5 port stops, 2 of which will be new for us! We are arriving in Puerto Rico on Thursday, 3/27 after our red-eye flight from Portland via Atlanta, so we'll have a few days to enjoy PR before we get on the ship.
